PROGRAMS, PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES
SPMS Targets for First Semester 2016
For the First Semester 2016, the following Programs and Activities have been approved by the City Vice-Mayor.
1. Full implementation of the SPMS, Phase I
a. Setting up of the Help Desk which shall provide necessary services between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM during regular working days without noon break.
b. Constituents and visitors use the Visitor’s Logbook. Logbooks record the details of the visit of constituents and visitors who come to the Department.
c. Constituents and visitors provide their satisfaction level through the Feedback Form. Constituents and visitors reflect their satisfaction level regarding the services provided by the Department through the Feedback Form.
d. Updated Bulletin Board with important information which the constituents and visitors may need. Constituents and visitors get important basic information without having to ask the Help Desk.
e. Employees use the proper forms at the proper time such as the pass slips and others.
2. Implementation of Personnel Development Program, Phase I
a. Monthly reports detailing the accomplishments of employees are submitted not later than the second Monday of the succeeding month.
b. Conduct of seminar-workshop on the following:
i. Nature and Functions of the Sangguniang Panlungsod [February 2016]
ii. Nature and Functions of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Secretariat [March 2016]
iii. Importance and the formulation of the Individual Development Plan [IDP] [April 2016]
c. Establishment of Events Coordinating Team [ECT] to assist the City Vice-Mayor and the Sanggunian in the preparation, management and evaluation of the participation of Legislative Department employees during the activities which the City Government hosts, sponsors or implements.
3. Updating of the preliminary online Legislative Information System [Borongan LEGIS]
a. Uploading of the Profiles and Activities of the Vice-Mayor and the SP Members within the January.
b. Regular updating of the Profiles and Activities of the Vice-Mayor and the SP Members within the semester.
c. Uploading of Ordinances and Resolutions for the past two terms, 2010-2013 and 2013 to present, for the consumption of netizens.
d. Uploading of other Ordinances and Resolutions before the 2010-2013 term.
4. Printing and distribution of newsletter
Monthly printing and distribution of a newsletter regarding Legislative activities to update constituents of what their SP is doing. Monthly newsletter distributed to 61 barangays. Constituents are informed of the activities of the SP.
